Niger Tornadoes midfielder, Peter Momoh has dedicated his maiden Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) goal that earned his side a 1-0 victory over at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja to the entire team.
Momoh said that he was happy to be part of the team that gave the Ikon Allah the all-important maximum point at home.
He applauded the confidence that the coaching crew has reposed on him and his colleagues since the commencement of the league.
“I am dedicating this goal to God almighty who made it possible for me to score today, it would not have been possible if my teammates did not supply me the ball to score, they goal scored is for the entire team”, said the former Kaduna United midfielder.
According to him, coach Abubakar Bala has given them much confidence, believing in them especially to the fact that they don’t have the NPFL experience.
“I really want to thank our coach for his belief in me, he has always told me that I can do it and I have never doubted him. With my goal today being the first of my NPFL I still have a lot to offer”, he added now.
Momoh added that they (players) were happy with their performance, assuring that they will continue to push forward for a better place finish.
