Enyimba striker Wasiu Alalade has set his sights on the star match of the Nigeria Professional Football League week 2 which will see the People’s Elephants host Heartland FC at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
He declared in a chat with Futbalgalore.com: “I’m so optimistic that I will score against the Heartland. It gives me joy to score in big matches.
“It’s in my adrenaline to net when the going gets tough, this won’t be an exception, the attacker said in a confident mood.
Bragging rights will be on offer in the Oriental Derby and the former First Bank player says his team won’t spare Heartland.
“We won’t spare Heartland, as we are in battle mood.”
“It’s a derby that means a lot to us.”
On his plans for the immediate future, the upcoming player only said he was taking things as it comes.
“I aim to score goals in the League and also move to a top European team. But I want to be careful and exercise patience with my soccer development.”
